This one very barrio of Matanao Davao del Sur seems going against the belief
that only those living in a very competitive and opportune urban are able and advantageous.
This vastly view of agricultural land promises certain advantage.
A wealth that only nature can give....
with proper cultivation
adding the application of plain technology …
(this irrigation also kills the starvation of youngsters from swimming into pool, rivers, seas...likewise this running water fulfill the need of mothers cleaning their clothes
how great is the tao here converting something to become alternative)
… this portion of native land is surely a hit that can
contribute to the betterment of lives not only for the people of Matanao but for
the countryside indeed.
Mountain standing tall with lush trees and plants
is undoubtedly a home of diverse animals
making our ecosystem in balance.
covering this tactically designed rice field,
sheltering people of the community from any inevitable disastrous calamities...(though pristine is lacking... this seemingly dilapidated nipa hut is no doubt the haven of exhausted farmer)
a file of different fruit-bearing trees freed people from starvation
undeniably peaceful and pollution free environment will be felt in this very barrio...

... whatever it takes
even it measures thousand of meters,
even if student takes hundred of steps due to the scarcity of any means of transportation
even if student suffer from muddy walk
even if student awakes earlier than the tilaok ng manok ...
eventhough facility is differ far from those in the city
where abundance of concrete establishment is evidently seen
and a lot of even though....
as long as the eagerness is present
as long as support is felt
as long as the ambition is drawn
changes will be met.
